Our field is easily accessible in South Wales, centrally located between Newport and Cardiff.
We know that every dog is unique, with some enjoying their own private space to explore in peace and others loving to socialise with other dogs and people. We’re excited to offer opportunities for all dogs to run, play and explore to their hearts’ content in a safe and stimulating countryside environment.

Safety is a Priority!
The experience and safety of our guests is a priority and dog parents are responsible for determining what service of ours is most suitable to their dog(s). Our fields are not supervised by Hey Good Dog team members and so responsibility rests on the owners to ensure that our ‘Rules’ and Terms and Conditions are adhered to.
Rules
These Rules apply to our walking field and any events (our Services).
By using our services, you agree to abide by our Rules and our Terms and Conditions:
- Advanced bookings and payment only. All bookings are non-refundable under 48 hours before the booked session.
- Please always open and close gates safely and promptly, to prevent the escape of any dogs.
- We politely request all owners to wait until you have had a chance to observe your dog(s) around other dogs and people for at least 6 weeks before using our Services. This will give a better idea of the dogs’ comfort level and what service is most suitable for their needs.
- Owners are responsible for determining which of our Services is suitable for their dog. We request that reactive dogs use our walking field privately.
- All dogs must wear a collar with an ID tag. Keep your dog on a lead when outside the enclosed field.
- Please remember to bring your own compostable poo bags to clean up after your dog(s). Designated bins will be provided.
- If there are other dogs around, please allow your dog to greet other dogs gradually at their own pace.
- You are responsible for your own dog(s) and guests you bring whilst using our Services. You must not leave your dog(s) unattended or under the supervisions of children at any time.
- When using our dog walking field privately, please only enter the field if the field is unoccupied. Please allow time within your allotted hour for changeover and leave the carpark immediately to avoid contact with other customers.
- You must satisfy yourself that the fencing used in our fields is suitable for your dog’s size and habits before using them.
- Children under 12 must be supervised at all times.
- Our spaces have not been made child safe and certain elements on the farm may pose an additional hazard to children (non-child proof poo bins for example).
- All structures and equipment within the fields are for dogs only, not adults or children to use.
- Please respect the countryside environment and those also using the space and retreat to a calm space if your dog is over excited.
- No smoking, alcohol, drugs or littering.
- All dogs are required to be fully vaccinated and fit to use our Services.
- Unneutered males over 12 months and females and season won't be able to attend events.
Conditions for XL Bullies and related mixed breeds

XL Bullies within the government definition and related mixed breeds are invited to use our private walking field for off-lead walks, subject to conditions set out by relevant legislation
- All dogs must be muzzled in the car before arriving, until you are inside the private walking field.

We Want You to Have the Best Experience!
We have the prerogative to refuse entry to any of our spaces as needed to maintain a safe and fun experience for everyone. We also have discretion to ‘vet’ dogs and require them to pass a social test, and may ask for additional information.
We’ve also made every effort to make our premises and surrounding area safe but guests are reminded that this is a working farm and our premises are used at your own risk. We don’t take responsibility for any incidents within the Hey Good Dog premises. We strongly suggest you have proper insurance in place before visiting.
We want you and your dogs to experience nature in its most natural state, whilst still ensuring the safety of all. Please dress appropriately with the right footwear and be careful of the natural landscape which can be uneven with varying terrain.
