Terms & Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions shall apply:
Services: Means all services provided by Hey Good Dog (including daycare, walking field and events).
Hey Good Dog: Means Hey Good Dog Ltd (incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company registration number is 15244485 whose registered office is at Spring Court Farm, Coedkernew, Newport, NP10 8UF), its owners, employees, personnel and anyone authorised by Hey Good Dog Ltd.
By accepting the Services of Hey Good Dog, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions and our Rules:
- General
- Hey Good Dog reserves the right to make amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you, and to notify you by posting an updated version of these Terms and Conditions on the website, at which point they will become immediately effective.
- By making a booking for use of our Services you agree to comply with our Rules and these Terms and Conditions. We may prevent any future bookings for use of our Services if you are in breach of the Rules or these Terms and Conditions.
- Fees / cancellation
- To benefit from discount rates, payment must be made in full for that particular period. Only one discount offer is applicable at a time.
- Hey Good Dog reserves the right to withdraw any current promotions, deals, offers or discounts at any time.
- Appointments are by booking only. All bookings must be paid for in advance via bank transfer or cash.
- Full payment for Services is to be made within 7 days of receipt of any invoice. Time for payment shall be of the essence.
- If no payment is received, Hey Good Dog reserves the right to refuse your dog and will contact you to inform you of this.
- Any daycare cancellations must be made with 72 hours’ notice or you will be charged in full
- Walking field bookings are non-refundable
- Dog daycare
- Registration
- All dogs must be registered with Hey Good Dog daycare services prior to attending daycare.
- You must notify Hey Good Dog of any changes to the information provided on the registration form, including your contact details, changes to your dog’s behaviour, training needs, health issues and/ or any other relevant details that might affect my dog under the care of Hey Good Dog.
- You confirm that your dog has no record of aggressive or anti-social behaviour and you have made a full and frank disclosure of any characteristic or trait that might make your dog unsuitable for socialising with other dogs.
- An induction must be completed prior to a dog joining daycare.
- Daycare is not suitable for all dogs and Hey Good Dog reserves the right to not accept a dog for daycare or to cancel future bookings should your dog be deemed unsuitable for daycare.
- Dogs must be at least 8 months to attend daycare.
- Your dog must have a collar, an identification tag identifying your contact details in the even of escape or loss and be microchipped.
- Health
- Female dogs who come into season will not be able to attend daycare for the duration of their season (approximately 3 weeks). Intact males over the age of 1 cannot attend daycare.
- All dogs accepted must have an up-to-date vaccination certificate which must be provided to Hey Good Dog before dogs are accepted for daycare and when any updates and/or changes to the vaccination certificates are made.
- You understand that even if your dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (kennel Cough) there is a chance that my dog can still contract Kennel Cough. You agree that you will not hold Hey Good Dog responsible if your dog contracts Kennel Cough while attending Hey Good Dog.
- You agree to worm and de-flea my dog(s) regularly as per recommended schedules.
- You agree to notify Hey Good Dog of any infectious or contagious disease that your dog has been exposed to or is affected by and understand that your dog(s) will not be accepted to daycare if they are showing any signs of illness or infection.
- Emergencies and accidents
- Hey Good Dog may in the owners’ absence act as guardian of the dog and may perform or take any action which they deem necessary in order to protect and keep your dog in good health. In the event of an emergency situation Hey Good Dog has the authority to make important healthcare related decisions on behalf of the owner in the instance that the owner cannot be contacted, and the matter is a dog welfare issue, in collaboration with our registered vets.
- In the event of requiring emergency treatment, you agree that Hey Good Dog’s registered vet is authorised to treat and that all associated charges shall be the dog owner’s responsibility. In any other circumstances you will be contacted, and treatment/ appointments will take place through your dog’s regular registered vet. The details of Hey Good Dog’s registered vet can be found at the reception of the daycare.
- You will take responsibility for any costs which may be incurred, by either veterinary or other, as a result of any damage, accident, or sickness caused to or by your dog and will pay any such costs or expenses on demand.
- You understand that your dog will be in an open play area and off lead in suitable areas. You understand that during normal dog play and agility, dogs may sustain slight injuries. Hey Good Dog takes great pride in the care of any animal in our care however, it cannot be held responsible for any loss, accident, injury, illness or death caused to any animal whilst in their care.
- Although we make every effort to provide dogs with enclosed, safe spaces, we cannot guarantee a dog will not escape from our premises. The fencing installed at our daycare facility is at a minimum height of 6 feet. If your dog jumps fences, you assume all risks of bringing your dog to our premises and release Hey Good Dog of any liability or any damage whatsoever arising from the fencing provided at our daycare.
- Registration
- Consent: In using our Services, you consent that:
- Your use of the walking field is at your own risk, and agree not to hold Hey Good Dog, its owners or staff responsible for any injury to you, your family/friends or your dogs, arising from your use of the walking field.
- Your dog is your responsibility at all times during your use of our Services (except for when your dog is in daycare) and you will supervise them at all times whilst on our premises.
- Any guests you bring with you when using our Services are your responsibility. Children under 15 must be supervised at all times.
- Your dog is appropriately insured, fully vaccinated and fit to use our Services.
- Your presence and that of your dog(s) and any guests you bring are at your own risk and that save as provided for by s.2(1) Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, Hey Good Dog accepts no responsibility and excludes all liability in respect of any loss, damage or injury to person or property sustained as a result of you and your dog’s (and any guests you bring with you) use of our Services and any interaction with any other party using our Services.
- You will not damage or deface any part of our premises and will respect the countryside environment, keeping noise to a minimum.
- Any Dangerous Dogs (as defined under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991) and any supplementary legislation are to be controlled and muzzled if necessary.
- Any Dangerous Dogs (defined under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991) and any supplementary legislation are to be muzzled in the car before entering the private walking field. You understand that if you arrive with your dog not muzzled in the car, your booking will be cancelled, and no refund provided.
- Use of the car parks designated by Hey Good Dog is at the owner’s risk and Hey Good Dog takes no responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle using the car park and no guarantee is given as to the security of your vehicles or any contents.
- Access over Spring Court Farm other than the Hey Good Dog designated spaces is prohibited.
- It is your responsibility to pick up all of your dog’s waste and dispose of it in the bin provided or take it home.
- CCTV surveillance is in operation on our premises to ensure the security and safety of individuals and property. All recorded footage is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is only accessible to authorised personnel. The information captured by CCTV is used for security and monitoring purposes only and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
- Except for when you are using our walking field privately, there will be other people and dogs within the same space as you. As an owner you understand and agree that there are risks associated with any off lead, cage free, socialisation environment to any humans or dogs in your case and you willingly accept these risks.
- Hey Good Dog reserves the right to refuse a booking for our Services due to a dog’s bad behaviour.
- You are responsible for any harm caused by your dog at Hey Good Dog, whether to dogs, other guests, staff or property. You shall indemnify and hold Hey Good Dog harmless against any claims made against Hey Good Dog or losses or damage of any kind suffered as a result of your dog.
- Discrimination and harassment have no place at Hey Good Dog, and any behaviours that threaten the sense of dignity, wellbeing, and safety of other guests or staff will not be tolerated.
- By using our Services, you give consent to Hey Good Dog to store any personal details you provide to us via the registration form, the booking system or via telephone or email. Hey Good Dog will never pass on or sell your personal information. Your personal information is stored securely, and we use this data for you and your dog(s) to gain access to our Services. At Hey Good Dog we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to:
- Provide you with the services you have requested from us;
- Ensure you gain access to our facilities;
- Ensure that all guests at Hey Good Dog enjoy a safe experience.
This agreement contains a whole agreement between the parties.
It is subject to English Law and any dispute arising out of it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
